Box Truck dispatch that pays
Box truck freight is the shortest path into trucking: lower equipment cost, often no CDL required depending on weight, and steady demand from final-mile and regional distribution. Rates are lower, but so is nearly everything else.

How our dispatchers work box truck
The habits that separate carriers who do well in this segment from carriers who grind.
Get a liftgate and a pallet jack
A large share of box truck freight goes to locations with no dock. Liftgate-equipped trucks access loads that others have to turn down, and it is usually worth a rate premium.
Confirm who unloads
Driver-assisted unload is common in this segment and it eats hours. Establish before booking whether you are touching the freight and whether that is paid.
Build regional density
Box truck economics work best on short repeatable runs rather than long hauls. Consistent regional customers beat chasing distance.
Rolling in 24 hours, not 24 days
Onboarding is deliberately boring. Four steps, one phone call, and a short document list.
Onboarding call
A 15-minute call to map your equipment, home base, preferred lanes, and the rate floor you refuse to go below.
Paperwork setup
We collect your MC authority, W-9, certificate of insurance, and factoring notice, then set you up across our broker and shipper network.
First load booked
Most carriers are rolling within 24 hours. Nothing gets booked without your approval on the rate. Ever.
Keep rolling
Your dispatcher pre-plans the next load, files the paperwork, and invoices the broker while you are still on the road.
Box Truck questions
Not for vehicles below the federal weight threshold, which covers most 26-foot box trucks operated at standard ratings. You still need a DOT number and to meet other federal requirements when operating commercially in interstate commerce. Verify your specific configuration.
Rates per mile are lower than Class 8 freight, but so are the truck payment, fuel, insurance, and maintenance. Box truck operations tend to work best on dense regional or final-mile work rather than competing for long-haul freight.
Drivers who stopped hunting loads

I went from chasing loads at midnight to running three trucks without touching a load board. My gross per truck is up almost $1,900 a week.
The paperwork side alone is worth the fee. They set up every broker, chase every POD, and my factoring company finally stopped calling me.
Blew a tire outside Amarillo at 2 a.m. and someone actually picked up the phone. Had road service and a reset load inside an hour.
